Now I know why guitar shops make jokes as if they forbid this musical instrument from being played in guitar shops, because the sound of any guitar will probably sound very comfortable to listen to.

I keep my guitar at 1 step down for the song, and I play/sing it 2 steps down in the key of Gmin (Amin form on the neck with the down-tuning). I’m lost with trying to re-tab the whole solo myself.

You really nail these Megadeth songs man. You don't just get the playing and the tone right but you also nail the minute timing nuances. You can especially notice it in the Marty solos. Most people play them on the beats and he doesn't typically land them perfectly on the beats. You're one of the few people that seems to get the nuances right.

This is a great effort & nice playing, but the tab is incorrect in a few places. Right off the bat, on the third bar, he's playing the Gmaj9 in the wrong place, making it much harder to play, & he's added open notes that don't belong because he's trying to match the tone of the correct position. It's played right up there in the same starting position. It's the 9th fret of the A string (F#) & the 10th fret of the B string (A), & it's only two notes, not 4 with two ringing out like he's got it, as I mentioned previously.

Thought for sure I'd be surprised one day and see some surf guitar before country! Not really familiar with Paisley's work, though I know he has a reputation as a really good guitarist in general, not just in country. I'm pretty sure I saw him cover Van Halen (Hot For Teacher) on youtube a couple years ago. Great outro solo and tone here. That tele gives you the go ahead on some John 5 (what a beast) and you can parlay that strat into some Buddy Holly or Ritchie Valens.
